Welcome! I’m happy to show you around my Connecticut towns including Norwalk, Rowayton, Wilton, Westport and Darien.
Growing up in East Norwalk, I enjoyed the beaches and marveled at the waterfront homes. It’s an easy bike ride from Calf Pasture and Shady beaches through Sasqua Hills into Saugatuck Shores where waterfront homes with moorings or docks abound. Continue riding to Compo Beach in Westport with beautiful homes with waterfront or water views.
Neighboring East Norwalk is SoNo with it’s Zagat rated restaurants and lively nightlife. Tucked away in South Norwalk is Shorefront Park, a gated water community where Boss Tweed had a house! Further down is the Harborview community with houses from cottages to newly built spectacular homes.
Heading north is the Cranbury section of Norwalk with Cranbury Park for disk golf and the annual Round Hill Highland Games and Wood’s Pond for ice skating. A residential area close to the Wilton border, yet convenient to major roadways. Close by is the Wolfpit area near the Westport line. Another beautiful residential area with cape cod style homes to newly constructed colonials.
West Norwalk, abutting the Darien and New Canaan lines, includes the Oak Hills Golf Course and Tennis Center. Homes here are convenient for the commuter with easy access to major roadways and Metro North trains in and out of New York City.
Silvermine, in the corner near the New Canaan and Wilton lines, is famed for its antique homes and artist community. Home to the Silvermine Guild and the historic Silvermine Tavern, the residents take care to maintain their antique homes and promote the rural feel.

Home Inspections >Walk Through Woes
Buyers can be a little cranky on closing day if things go wrong during the walk-through inspection. For example, the sellers' dependable old dishwasher might stop midway through its cycle and the bathroom sink might clog unexpectedly. These situations can create anxiety for the buyers and sellers, but such problems are quite common and usually simple to resolve.
Most purchase agreements require that the major mechanical systems and the appliances being conveyed are in working order at the time of the closing. Defects are often discovered during the structural inspection, allowing the sellers plenty of time to have the repairs made. Occasionally there are last-minute breakdowns or defects that are not spotted until the walk-through inspection. In that case, an agreement can be made with the sellers at the closing to escrow funds for the repair or replacement of the items in question.
